ABOUT ST PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH

Saint Paul Lutheran Church was founded in 1865 for a purpose. We witness that in Christ, our sins are forgiven. Jesus Christ’s death redeemed us from sin, death and the devil. When His living word is faithfully proclaimed, and given through Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, the Holy Spirit works faith so that we receive eternal life. Through our Lord’s gracious gifts the church rejoices in life together as Christ’s body, sharing God’s love in mercy and witness. Our Lord comes to us in Divine Service, blessing His repentant, hungry people with His word and sacraments. Fed by our Lord, we are strengthened in faith toward God and love for one another.

Our worship follows the liturgy common to Christianity for centuries. We confess our sins, receive absolution, pray the Psalms, hear the Scriptures, confess our faith, pray for all people, receive our Lord’s body and blood under bread and wine and give thanks through song.

Saint Paul Lutheran Church is in fellowship with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. As evangelical Lutherans we confess that the Scriptures are truly God’s word. We also affirm that the Book of Concord (the historic confessions of our church) are true to Scripture.

You are welcome to attend the Divine Service and classes about Christian faith and life. We ask first time worshippers to not come to the Lord’s Supper until they speak with the pastor. We have classes
that lead to communion upon request. You are also welcome to our mercy and social events.

If you wish to talk about spiritual life contact Pastor Beck or leave a message with the church secretary.
